Made for a TV production company for a pilot using scale models instead of the actual buildings (which have since been destroyed), this Old Louisville mansion boasts a dark and intriguing history. Constructed in 1897, it was transformed into a sanatorium in the 1920s, where staff were rumored to have conducted unethical experiments on patients. In the 1960s, a woman operated the grand residence as a boarding house until she was tragically murdered by one of the tenants. Following her death, the property briefly served as an underground sex club during the 1970s, leaving behind remnants such as the holes in the ceilings of the first-floor rooms, where chains once hung for illicit activities.
