Actually laying my eyes upon the model of my childhood home was mind-bending. The details most people probably miss are not lost by Christopher Petersen.

I had Chris make a model of our home as a Christmas present for my husband. Chris was a professional every step of the way. He provided me with detailed drawings and pictures as he was building our model to ensure that I was happy with it. Chris also provided me with a contact to make a custom display box for our model home. And the packaging! He shipped it so well that I didn’t want to take it out of the box and look at it before I wrapped it up for Christmas. Everything came in-tact. Honestly, I wasn’t sure how he was going to package it so well, but it was amazing!

I would refer anyone to Chris Peterson to make models for them. He takes pride in his work and it shows!

I came to Chris with some old photos and rough measurements of my grandparents’ farmhouse. Even with some unknowns about the actual house, Chris did an outstanding job. The whole process from beginning to end was very easy and FAST! I was expecting to wait for months and months to receive my house, but it only took a few weeks. Chris is very thorough and checks in to make sure that what he’s making is up to your standard. The actual finished product is actually quite sturdy and will hold up well. I was very impressed with how my house turned out.

So my husband and I have had this dream about building a fish camp for our getaway spot and found this modular home that we knew would fit the bill. I ran across Christopher’s website while looking around online at miniature stuff and immediately loved his work. His models are so beautiful and just struck me with enchantment.  I contacted him to see if he would do a custom home and he delivered. The pieces arrived and I constructed our new fish camp in less time than it is taking to build the real one! There are still a few finishing touches on this one as you can see but overall I just love it.  Thank you Christopher and hopefully we will see our life size camp soon!

Chris was very informative and kept me updated throughout the whole process. I commissioned him to create a scale model of my grandma’s house as a gift for my mom. The end result is amazing, it looks exactly like her house – down to the smallest detail. Very impressive work!

Our 109 year old home was honored by his perfect attention to detail; from recreating our front porch swing, to adding a tiny flower box on our back porch! His model now sits in our local Historical Society!
