Accessory Dwelling Units
S scale, 1/2th”, 1:2, 1″=2 feet
These are scale models of several ADUs near Los Angelos I made for a developer/remodeler. The smaller single story one was built as a new unit while the larger multi-stoy one was a refurbished garage.
An Accessory Dwelling Unit is a fully independent living space built on the same property as a main home. Think of it as a private little home within your property line—complete with its own kitchen, bathroom, and living area.
ADUs are sometimes called “granny flats,” “in-law suites,” or “backyard cottages” and can be attached to the main house or completely separate, and they’re becoming more popular for good reason. They’re perfect for giving family members their own space, creating a rental opportunity, or simply adding long-term value to your property.
